1974 Yamaha 250 MX Off-Road. Frame # is 364-025223 as also the engine # as well. Bike was not running and was in need of restoration- very complete -. This is a frame up restoration that has included new bearings in wheels as well as new fork seals etc. The engine is very nice sounding and the trani and clutch are smooth.( have not done any work to the engine with exception of ignition). Bike had not been run for several years due to lack of spark. I have learned that the CDI for this vintage was troublesome as well as rare to find. This bike has been retro fitted with the same year 1974 Yamaha Enduro points ignition. I do have the original internal engine parts for the original CDI ( CDI box is junk) that comes with the bike. Also the original oil injector system is gone as well (also a very common practice for this era).Frame has an enamel finish as well as all the body work. The seat has been recovered to duplicate OEM . Retro decal kit has been applied as well.Muffler system is very nice, wheels have some dings and scratches but are acceptable for this type of bike.The carb and throttle controls are stock . No Title , No Warranty, As is sale
