High Park
Tour
High Park
is the largest and most explored park in Toronto.
Lucky for Bloor West Villager's, it is only a ten-minute
walk to the main gates. Within the park, many newcomers
can explore creeks, ravines, rolling hills, and massive
woodlands. High Park is also the home of Toronto's
largest pond, Grenadier Pond.
High
Park's location is what creates its own beauty.
Situated directly north of Lake Ontario allows the
park to be influenced by three major life zones. They're
the Carolinian forest from the south, tall grass prairie
or savannah from the west, and boreal mixed forest
from the north. When assembling all three, the result
is a community full of diverse wildlife.
